It is being reported that the California Department of Public Health is investigating a hospital located in Pasadena, where Dr. Drew Pinsky runs a show airing on VH1 called “Celebrity Rehab.”

3 deaths have occured at the facility, as well as 1 rape, all of which Pinsky has denied any involvement in.

Oddly enough, his picture, the only one to be found on the hospitals’ web site has been taken down.

The hospital have not come out and confirmed that the deaths and the rape actually took place as they are citing confidentiality laws.

“These were not my patients,” Pinsky said. “To associate me with these situations is really becoming an egregious problem.”

Article # 2 (below):
Problem:  When doctors or care providers, particularly those who are renowned,  choose to intentionally and publicly market themselves as being at a particular facility and endorse that facility - which often will then lead to increased exposure for them and referrals to that facility - shouldn't they also be responsible for the care that is provided at that facility?  Isn't this response by Dr. Drew Pinsky - to now distance himself from Aurora Las Encinas and deny any connection to these tragic and preventable losses - predictable and the first attempt at washing one's hands of a situation for which someone must take responsibility?  For more information on what to possibly expect from the aftermath of this situation, go to "THE LOST" button on this web site.
